Frisco ISD earns A+ in 2023 Niche rankings, ranking in Top 1% in Texas
The highly regarded Frisco Independent School District serving The Grove Frisco has an A+ overall rating in the 2023 rankings from Niche, and the individual campuses serving our award-winning community also earned all A’s.
Here are some highlights from the 2023 Niche rankings.
Frisco ISD ranks No. 7 among the 1,018 public school districts evaluated in Texas, vaulting it into the top 1% of all districts statewide. Frisco ISD ranks No. 4 among the 83 districts ranked in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. In Collin County, Frisco ISD ranks No. 2 among school districts.
In addition to its overall A+ Niche grade, Frisco ISD has an A+ for Academics and an A+ for College Prep. The district also has A grades for Teachers, Clubs & Activities and Administration.
Liberty High School
Among the campuses zoned to The Grove Frisco, Liberty High School ranks as the No. 3 Best Public High School in Collin County, with an overall A+ grade. Liberty has A+ grades for Academics and College Prep.
Liberty ranks high within the greater Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Looking at all 314 Metroplex high schools ranked by Niche, Liberty ranks No. 8, putting it in the top 3%.
Lawler Middle School
Lawler Middle School excels in the 2023 Niche report, ranking No. 1 among the Best Public Middle Schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area when looking only at traditional schools and not including charter and magnet schools. Even when including charter and magnet schools, Lawler ranks No. 3 out of all 423 schools ranked.
Lawler has an overall A+ Niche grade, with more A+ grades for Academics and Teachers from Niche.
Elementary schools
For the 2022-23 academic year, three Frisco ISD elementary schools are zoned to serve various neighborhoods within The Grove Frisco.
Talley Elementary has an overall A+ Niche grade, with more A+ grades for Academics and Teachers.
McSpedden Elementary has an overall A+ Niche grade, with an A+ for Academics and an A for Teachers.
Isbell Elementary has an overall A rating, with As for Academics and Teachers.
Frisco ISD and the campuses serving The Grove Frisco also performed very well in the latest accountability ratings from the Texas Education Agency. All of the schools listed above earned overall A ratings from the TEA, and most garnered distinction designations for outstanding performance in areas such as Math, Science and Postsecondary Readiness.
