2022 TEA Accountability Ratings have all “A”s for schools serving The Grove Frisco

The 2022 Accountability Ratings from the Texas Education Agency have outstanding report cards for the highly regarded Frisco ISD schools serving The Grove Frisco.

Each campus zoned to our award-winning community has an A rating, and all have earned Distinction Designations in areas such as Math, Science and Postsecondary Readiness.

At the district level, Frisco ISD is the largest school district in North Texas to receive an overall A rating from the TEA. Frisco ISD also received As for Student Achievement, School Progress, Academic Growth and Closing the Gaps.

Liberty High School

Liberty High School has an overall A rating, with a score of 97 out of 100. Liberty also has A ratings for Student Achievement and Closing the Gaps.

Liberty also earned six out of seven Distinction Designations, including ELA/Reading, Mathematics,

Science, Social Studies, Postsecondary Readiness and Comparative Closing the Gaps.

Distinction Designations are awarded to campuses for outstanding performance in relation to 40 other similar campuses.

Lawler Middle School

Lawler Middle School aced the 2022 Accountability Ratings, with an overall A rating and a score of 98 out of 100. Lawler has A ratings in every subcategory, including Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gaps.

As a crowning achievement, Lawler earned every possible Distinction Designation, including ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness and Comparative Closing the Gaps.

Elementary schools

For the 2022-23 academic year, three Frisco ISD elementary schools are zoned to serve various neighborhoods within The Grove Frisco.

Talley Elementary has an overall A rating, with a score of 97. It has A ratings for Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gaps. Talley earned five Distinction Designations, in ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Science, Comparative Academic Growth and Postsecondary Readiness.

McSpedden Elementary has an overall A rating, also with a score of 97. It has A ratings for Student Achievement, School Progress and Closing the Gaps. Distinction Designations include ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Science, Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness and Comparative Closing the Gaps.

Isbell Elementary has an overall A rating, with As for Student Achievement and School Progress. Isbell also has Distinction Designations for Mathematics and Science.
