Meet Courtney Craven, The Grove Frisco’s Community Engagement Manager

With a strong background in community outreach, education, travel and running a local nonprofit, Courtney Craven has joined The Grove Frisco as our Community Engagement Manager.

Courtney’s title sounds a tad formal, but her job is actually very simple: bringing The Grove Frisco’s more than 1,000 families together for fun and fellowship.

Her extensive professional background is an ideal match for her new role at The Grove Frisco, which includes planning events at Orchard House and other amenities.

Nurturing the growing number of clubs and groups forming in The Grove Frisco is a priority for Courtney, along with finding ways to support the greater Frisco community.

“My passion is to build community and create collaborative, inclusive events and environments where everyone feels welcome,” she says. “I’m thrilled to join The Grove Frisco at a time when there’s a new focus on creating resident groups such as Game Night, Coffee Club and Walking Club.”

Courtney has nearly 20 years of experience in education, most recently as Campus Community Engagement Coordinator for Dooley Elementary School in Plano ISD.

She was also a physical education teacher at Dooley, winning Campus Teacher of the Year and Top 5 District Teacher of the Year in 2021.

Courtney’s passion for helping others extends to her side hustle as a local travel agent. She founded Craven Custom Travel in 2021, specializing in vacation planning for families, groups, weddings and adult-only getaways.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Courtney is a humanitarian with a strong devotion to building connections and relationships. She is a co-founder of the nonprofit Soles for Souls NTX, and she volunteers as events coordinator for City Point Church.

When The Grove Frisco opened in 2018, being an engaged community was one of our cornerstone visions, and our commitment has never been stronger.

As we prepare to open our exciting new phase north of Main Street, starting in late 2024, we’re excited to welcome Courtney to our outstanding HOA team. We think she’s the perfect team member to welcome more new families to The Grove Frisco, and to plan even more fun events as we add new recreational amenities.

Welcome, Courtney!
